RVSM Implemented
The United States has implemented Reduced Vertical Seperation Minima, effective 20 Jan 2005. All TWVA aircraft are RVSM compliant, and should use the equipment suffix "/Q" when filing their flight plans.
Single Engine Taxi (SET)
Procedures In Effect
In response to high fuel costs, TWVA flight crews are asked to taxi aircraft with one engine in situations where taxi time may be extensive. Prior to departure, the remaining engine would then be started and checked for proper operation. Use caution as aircraft handling may be affected during single engine taxi.
